Your clients are already asking you whether AI can help them
MAZ AI, an AI and automation consultant in Laval, pays its partners 50% of their first three collected mandates, then 25% of everything their introduced clients pay after that — with no end date. The agreement fits in one paragraph, commission is paid within 15 days, and the client is always informed.
50% on your first three mandates. 25% after that, for life.
You introduce a client to me by name, in writing, before I speak to them. That’s all I ask of you. If that client hires me, you receive a share of everything they pay me — audit, setup, automation, website, application, ongoing engagement.
Half, to start
On your first three collected mandates, across all clients. First come, first counted.
A quarter, for life
On every mandate after that, for every client you’ve introduced. Nothing decays: a client introduced in 2026 still pays out in 2031 if they’re still there.
No 12-month window, no expiry. Past your first three mandates, the 25% keeps running on everything your introduced clients pay.
Four conditions, and that’s it
A real introduction: an intro email, a three-way call, or in person. The client knows who I am before we speak — I don’t cold-call a name.
Paid on what’s collected, never on what’s invoiced. Within 15 days of collection — slow payment kills the second introduction.
One line in the client’s engagement email. It changes nothing about their price. Non-negotiable.
By either side, without notice or reason, for future mandates. Anything already running keeps paying out. No quota, no exclusivity.
Start with a free audit of your own firm
Recommending a vendor you’ve never seen work means risking your own reputation. So I propose the opposite: before you refer anyone, I run the full audit of your business, free, no strings attached. Same deliverable your clients would receive — three ranked workflows, what each one costs you in hours and dollars, a fixed price on the first.
You’ll know exactly what I find, how I say it, and whether it’s the kind of work you want your name attached to. If the answer is no, we’ll have done each other a favour.
What if you can’t accept a commission?
Since May 2024, the Québec CPA Code of Ethics regulates commissions rather than prohibiting them — client disclosure and consent required, with some situations still prohibited. Every professional checks their own situation with their order; I never assume.
The full agreement
No five-page contract. Here’s the entire text — you reply “confirmed” by email and it’s in effect.
What I get asked most often
How much work is this on my end?
One sentence. You name the client in writing, I do the rest — the 20-minute call, the audit, the follow-up. No preparation, no material to master.
Are you going to sell my client something else?
I do one thing: process diagnostics and automation. I don’t do accounting, managed IT or marketing — your services stay yours, and my audits send you work more often than they take it away.
What happens if the audit finds nothing?
Full refund.
How do I describe this to a client in one sentence?
“MAZ AI goes through your processes with you, looks at where AI would save you the most time, hands you a report on the three situations costing you the most time, with fixed prices — and if it’s not worth it, he tells you.”
How do my first three mandates get counted?
Across all clients, in the order they’re collected. If your first introduced client signs an audit and then an automation, that’s two of the three. First come, first counted.
What if I stop, or you stop?
Commissions owed on clients already introduced keep being paid. Cancellation only affects new introductions, and it takes no notice and no reason, on either side.
Does my client pay more because I’m paid?
No. The price is the same, referred or not, and the client knows you’re compensated — it’s written in their engagement email.
12 signs a client is losing hours without knowing it
You see inside dozens of businesses. These go unnoticed by the owner — but not by you.
They send you the same information twice, in two different formats.
Someone re-types by hand what already exists somewhere else.
Quotes go out late, or not at all, when the week gets busy.
They have software they use about 20% of.
Only one person knows how the process works.
They talk about hiring someone “just to handle the paperwork”.
The monthly report gets rebuilt by hand every time.
Follow-ups happen when somebody remembers.
Information lives in four places that don’t talk to each other.
They ask you for numbers they should already have.
“We’ve always done it this way” comes up often.
They asked you whether AI could help them, and you had no answer.
Twenty minutes to compare what we see
No pitch, nothing to sign. We compare what your clients are asking you and what I see on my side — and if the free audit of your firm interests you, we schedule it on the spot.
